Emergency Department Physician

We currently have openings for Emergency Physicians for MaineGeneral Medical Center's Augusta and  Waterville Campus. BC/BE in Emergency Medicine preferred. ED staff includes 20 physicians and 7 PAs with 27beds in our new state of the art Alfond Center for Health in Augusta and 22 beds and our newly renovated Waterville  department. We are a 24/7 ED with an annual volume of 52,000. Schedule is 14 nine hour shifts per month. Clinical Medical backup is available from a staff of 240 physicians, including the  Adult & Pediatric Hospitalist Service.  Generous staffing including Ultrasound fellowship trained  Assistant Medical Director. Each campus has 4 bed mental Behaivioral health area staffed by psychiatric nurses.  192 private rooms and 16 CC beds in our Augusta location.Located in lakes region between coast, Portland and Sugarloaf.
